Nisar brings extensive experience with numerous JV Partnership projects in the Middle East, Africa and Asia with companies specializing in communications, Healthcare, AI, Nanotechnology, Stem Cells products and providing Energy Storage Solutions thru a JV Partnership company looking at developing a Terawatt Factory with a global application in the Middle East. He currently serves on the board of several NGO organizations, is speaker on many forums in international arenas covering the need of Global healthcare, infrastructure development, and is a minority stakeholder of Condor Pearl Airlines. Mr. Peterson runs an emerging markets practice, focusing on corporate emerging markets work. This work includes five major components: working with emerging markets governments; forming private equity and similar funds, primarily directed at emerging markets; working on transactions for such funds; working on a wide array of cross-border joint ventures involving emerging markets; and working on various infrastructure projects in emerging markets (including several biofuel and carbon credit related projects). For the past several years Todd has been listed in The Legal Media Group Guide to the World’s Leading Equity lawyers, as well as TheLegal Media Group Guide to the World’s Leading Mergers and Acquisition Lawyers(Legal Media Group is the legal publishing arm of Euromoney Institutional Investor). Aleksander Kierski has over 25 years of experience in holding senior executive positions in investment banking and private equity in Western and Eastern Europe. During his career, Aleksander has completed over 20 transactions for over US$ 200 million as principal for institutional private equity funds. He participated in fundraising and managing over 15 funds (generalist and sector specific) and managed transactions from classical startups to expansion stage financing, LBO’s to distressed asset sales and hostile bids. He was a member of the Board in over 20 Telecommunication, High Technology, Media and FMCG companies. Since 2005, Aleksander is the Founder and Managing Partner of JAK Capital, an investment firm that focuses on private equity investments, NPL portfolio acquisitions, distressed asset and real estate transactions. JAK Capital originated, led and structured transactions that were financed by established private equity funds and hedge funds. Previously, for three years, Aleksander held the position of Vice President for Eastern Europe with Citigroup Venture Capital International and managed a private equity portfolio of over US$ 210 million. Prior to this, Aleksander was Chief Investment Officer in AIG New Europe Fund (private equity fund of over US$ 320 million focusing on Central Europe).Previously, for 9 years Aleksander was a Partner at Baring Private Equity Partners Ltd. (ING Group) in Paris and Geneva, where he was responsible for investments in France, Switzerland and other Western European countries. He also spent two years with Arthur Andersen (Switzerland) and two years with Postech (a Swiss software company). Aleksander lived his early years in the Far-East, Pacific, Europe and North Africa, where he was educated in French and British Private Schools. Fluent in English, French and Polish, he holds a BSc (Computer Science and Physics) from the University of Sydney, Australia, and a MBA from BSL, Lausanne.
Sascha is a serial Entrepreneur from Frankfurt Germany. He founded his first company when he started studying Computer Science in 1988. He has been a co-founder and CEO of several IT companies before he joined IBM in 2013 as business development leader EMEA for Tivoli solutions for a couple of years. Being a serial entrepreneur Sascha raised 57 Venture Capital several times and understands the power of paradigm shifts through new technologies in many markets and the impacts, it can cause in todays’ society. He cofounded his second company WiredMinds to provide operating support and monitoring for online banking solutions. Later he became one of the first crypto enthusiasts but also a strong supporter for their regulations. While he studied Computer Science and Computational Linguistics he also worked at the Supercomputer Center at the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
